So im thinking i could save some money by taking the wheels off the bike myself to save some labor costs. I have removed the front wheel before, but never the rear.

I am finding it hard to get a front tire in the right size 110/90/16. Currently I have a 100/90/16 on the front rather than the 110 that it came stock...

forgot to update this a while back....

Bike is all fixed...

Battery was fine...

New Stator and new rectifier was needed.

Total repair $235.00

That's the understatement of the month.
That would mean that your bike battery actually has a voltage of about 10.8 V.; NOT GOOD.

i think my meter might be a bit off too:
I just checked my Jeep to see what it reads
15.6 Volts not running
16.8 Volts Running
Seems high to me

got a multimeter today. battery was fully charged and it was sitting at around 12.17 Volts Fired up the bike and it jumped to 13.6 Volts. Guess this means the charging system is working..... ...

I did notice that the bolts holding on the rectifier were loose when I bought it. I tightened them up not thinking much of it. Makes me wonder??

The charger is a full charger that does both 12V and 6V. I charged it on 12V and the 2 amp setting.

Funny you mention the headlight. It is the factory bulb but when I got the bike all the wires inside the headlight had been cut. I spliced all the wires back together. Must be headlight related
