Seat & Wheels
As we all know, the seat on the GZ is rather Cheezee at best. Has anyone ever tried or compared a GZ seat to a seat from a VS800 Marauder?? The reason I ask is that I saw a Corbin seat for the VS800 sale on e-bay. One of the photos showed a view from the bottom. I appears to have a mounting tongue, key lock post, and rubber bumpers very similar to the one on a GZ. If in fact it does fit, that opens up the use of a stock VS800 seat, as well as Mustang & Corbin selections.
Also, has anyone ever tried to find a stock Suzi mag wheel to retrofit the GZ?? Again, I saw some GN125 mags for sale on e-bay & the looked like they were close. Polished & black.... cool.

I think I've seen this question asked before some where. Did you search the forum?

Seat & Wheels
Yeah Bob, I searched, and all I can find says "no one makes a GZ seat other than Suzuki" It really sucks. Same with the wheels.

Seat
Yes Bob, I saw the link. I'm just looking for an off the shelf substitute. I really like the Mustang police style seat. it's big. Like my butt.

I've been where you are. I don't think you are going to find an off the shelf seat. ( I could be wrong)

You might ask the seller for some measurements. You can't really tell about size for the pictures. |

Seat
Yeah, its hard to tell. I'll take your advise and try to find a junkyard seat, or maybe a guy with a VS at a biker gathering. Thanks for looking.

The 650 seat is very similar as well. To use it, you would have to remove the passenger seat for the Gz and run the 650 seat all the way across. There are, however, aftermarket options for it. Again, it would need to be fabricated to work.
