Loose hose under the motorcycle
Hello, I'm a new and proud owner of a GZ250. This is also my first motorcycle. Apologies in advance for the total newb question if this is perfectly normal. I did search the forums fishing for something like this, but I couldn’t find anything. Please point me there if this has already been answered.
I’ve just got the bike a week ago. I only took it for a spin once so far, and the other day I discovered this hose loose under it. I’ve heard about the breather hose for the gas tank, but I’m not sure if this hose is that one. This one is loose and not held to anything, so it looks suspicious, honestly. On the other hand, nothing is dripping from it. It’s dry. I’m attaching an image, and I’m also attaching two images of the engine from both sides, in case this is a problem and you guys need more info. The green circle is for a hose which I don't know what it is. Nothing wrong with that one, I'm just curious to know what hose that is. The other one, the one with the red circle, I'm not sure if it's a problem or I shouldn't worry about it. Thanks. Link to loose hose images. The larger diameter looks to be the air box drain (long story to explain why I now know this) Remove cap, hopefully you wont get the surprise I did. The thinner looks to be the drain hose for float bowl (bottom of carb) when you might drain your carbs when your riding season is over.
