Thanks! Its a sportster tank i got raw on ebay for about $85, it holds around 2.5 gallons, the front fairing i got off craigslist, he just said it was on his harley. And i got lucky with the seat and got it for 35 on ebay.
She still needs a lot of work but im excited to finally see progress. One of my biggest challenges is getting propper springs and find a way to mount then right Thanks for the feedback! Login or Register to Remove Ads |

I've been trying to build a seat for my bike and the springs was a real pain. I went through several different sizes before I found anything that actually worked.
If you have a good bike shop it you might have better luck finding an appropriate selection. |

just an idea. has any thought about checking one of these seats to see if they might be modified to work for your bobber projects?

I would imagine you could put some mounting bolts thru the center of the flat plate in the back and turn the bar mount so that you could use it as a mounting point as well.
It would at least be a great starting point. |
