Average battey life
Hey how long should a battery last on average?
I got somewhere between 3 and 4 years with mine but i quit on me last week Does that sound about right or could something be draining it? I recharged it and it worked twice before quitting on me again but i've ordered anther one anyway Just wanted to check if this all sounds normal ...also on a side note have any of you guys taken a dent out of a tank with that heat and then cool really fast method? Re: Average battey life
3 or 4 years is common battery life. The longest I've have heard is 7 years but that was exceptional in my opinion. A lot of factors will determine battery life. Temperature, times discharged, amount and duration of riding will have their own effects. Added power hungry farkles will not allow proper charging on short rides. Use of a Battery Tender is helpful if there is any doubt about proper charging if short rides are common.

Re: Average battey life
4 years 7 months, & no problems so far. Only do short rides (small island) & never needed to charge it. On the other hand, we don't have the temperature variations (below freezing) like in Ireland, America, Canada.

Re: Average battey life
Hi if you guys get a chance you might check out CycleGear or CycleGear.com. Their "Megaboost" battery has a lifetime replacement guarantee and as far as I know it's the only battery available that has such a guarantee. From what I've read they're awesome about it, too. Just bring it in and they'll give you a new one.

Re: Average battey life
I've noticed my battery life has reduced considerably, I've put my CPU on "conservative" and it's alleviated the issue some, but not by enough, I think. I've gone from 96% to 83% in 5 hours IDLE. That never used to happen to me before. At most I would get a 5% drop, if any. I've attached pictures of what I think might be of use to you in helping me diagnose this. What are all those things under Android System and why are they running so much?
can anyone help... |
