tires

hi all and welcome new comers

its time for tires. again don't have a clue as to what are good tires, great tires and junk tires. looking at the tires on the bike which are stock it seems like there not a common tire. i would think that some brands last longer then others, some have better grip then others, etc

what brand on tires have you used and what do you think of them

thanks

safe biking

I always ran a 100/90-16 on the front. The 100 is much easier to get than the 110,and works fine.

Re: tires

avons are top end tires, so they are a good choice for sure, but more money. my bike has a 130 up front and a 150 in the rear so its not realllty a huge deal the size just get in the ball park like blain had

Re: tires

I like Dunlop Tires. I got 40,000 miles one time on a rear tire for my Yamaha.

Re: tires

It's true. However I couldn't get more than 22,000 out of a front tire on the Yamaha.
