Re: bike wont turn over (please help)

You probably have a short somewhere (most likely), or the kickstand switch or clutch switch died on you (less likely). Get the tank off and inspect the wiring harness. When I got my bike, it had one of the wires under the tank touch the cylinder head, which made the light fuses blow. I hope you have a multimeter so you can check for continuity.

Refer to the wiring diagram in the user manual. It's the "E-03" diagram p 7-8. Oh also check if the kickstand switch is in its proper place.

Oops, just read in your post that it's under warranty - back to the shop it goes.

Re: bike wont turn over (please help)

Mine was delivered with a bad turn signal switch and they fixed it (but I bought it new.) I don't think your problem is going to be expensive to fix and it wouldn't be worth it to them to weasel out of it.

I will say that my turn signal issue resurfaces from time to time, but also seems to cure itself. it's the intermittent electrical problems that drive you nuts. I suspect my problem is mild corrosion. Yours sounds like some kind of a short as you suspect.

Does the plug spark? (Sounded like no, but I wasn't sure from your description.)

Re: bike wont turn over (please help)

If it's still under warranty bring it back to the shop, don't mess with it at all. They will tell you that you broke it and they won't repair it under any warranty and it was your fault.
