New guy from Houston

Hey Everyone, New guy here from Houston. I have been riding for about 10 years now and really love it. Started out on dirtbikes which I still ride with my kids. My 1st street bike was a 2001 CBR600 and the 06 GZ is my 2nd (talk about doing things backwards). I really enjoy the GZ250 because now I can actually see the sites rather than just the blurry stuff in my peripheral vision. I live in NW Houston and there are a ton of backroads to enjoy the bike on and I ride as much as I can.

Re: New guy from Houston

Welcome Todd. I'm sure you will see new things just rolling along on the GZ. It is a sure winner for backroads and secondary highways. My SO Lynda had a 06 GZ and rode half way across Canada and back with nary a problem. It was a bit out of it's element the odd time but was willing to tackle any surface under the tires.
Find some twisties in the 40-50 MPH range and have a real giggle. The GZ does quite well.
