Driving test.

Just did the Georgia skills test.

You should see the grooves in the ground from previous testees.

I scored a zero.

No mistakes.

Re: Driving test.

Excellant news. You are a credit to riders everywhere. We all too often hear about riders who just get on and ride with no endorsements or inclination to be qualified.

Re: Driving test.

I guess I could have been more clear. Being qualified by the local DOT/licensing folks is the right thing to do. It also shows you have some smarts concerning 2 wheels. Over the last few years on various forum I have read comments from and about riders who think they don't need to be officially licensed because they can drive a car. A bike is a different animal with it's own driving characteristics that don't apply to a car.

Re: Driving test.

Bleck. They are not very smart. I am just now after 200 miles starting to feel (again) and understand (again) the left/right up/down sensations on my "sides" that tells me what the motorbike is doing and that I can use as a guide for lean for when I am turning, etc. Some of what I know I have long forgotten that I didn't remember about until I started feeling it again.

That is definitely not something I get when I am in the car unless something is terribly wrong... like sliding across snow....
