Airhawk pneumatic seat cushion
I just found a post with a mention about the "Airhawk pneumatic seat cushion" which Googling returns: http://www.therohostore.com/Departments ... hions.aspx as the place to get them.
Anyone have one and are willing to post your thoughts on it? What size do you have? Is it the "Airhawk" or "Airhawk 2" ? If it does what is says it does, the "Airhawk 2" doesn't look to bad for the price. Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Airhawk! Yes! Yes! Yes! :2tup:
The discomfort of the GZ seat is legendary, as you have no doubt read. The Airhawk is a complete game-changer. I can literally ride all day on it with no comfort issues at all. I didn't get the Airhawk until I was half-way through a long multi-day trip (on a different bike with a marginally less uncomfortable seat). On the way out I was squirming at 60 minutes and aching at 90. On the way back, heaven! I still stopped about every 90 minutes - because my legs needed stretching, not because my derreire was numb. I paid somewhat less than the price advertised on the Roho site. I bought on eBay from ghostmotorcycleinc. I think I paid around $135 plus shipping.

Re: Airhawk pneumatic seat cushion
Hey waya, BillInGA
This seems like a great replacement alternative for the GZ stock seat!! One question though, do you know if AIRHAWK actually makes a model for the GZ? Because in the link that waya posted, specifically in the Fit Chart http://www.therohostore.com/AIRHAWK-...Fit-Chart.aspx, I couldn't find the GZ... Anyway, I'm gonna do some internet browsing on my own, and probably ask AIRHAWK directly just to be sure... Thanks for the info!! :2tup:

Seems like there's no different shapes (except cruiser style, sports style, etc.) just large, medium, small. You might need to measure the geezer saddle, & just ask them which cruiser saddle you'll need.

Re: Airhawk pneumatic seat cushion
IIRC, I got the Cruiser Medium. I just measured it and it's about 14" wide and 14" long. I believe the ROHO site gives the dimensions of the different sizes.
It's not a replacement for the stock seat, but an add-on. It sits on top of the seat.
