Sissy Bar and Luggage Rack
We have a sissy bar back rest and luggage rack combo from a 2002 GZ250 for sale. Great shape, no tears or flaking chrome. $125.00 OBO plus shipping. I'm also looking for a choke cable for the same bike.

If you can't find a legitimate buyer I'll take em for $75. I think the reality is the gz isn't the best two upper... What is shipping going to run? Are you set up for paypal?

Re: Sissy Bar and Luggage Rack
When you go to install that, try and do one bolt at a time as it's a real PIA to try and line them up again if you take them all off at once.
And elevate the bike by extending the rear shock as much as possible and maybe even pick up the bike from underneath the frame to get the rear tire off the ground to separate it as much as possible from the fender so you can get your fingers and a wrench in there to work on the bolts and nuts. Sissy Bar and Luggage Rack
Yeah, not looking forward to it. I got two things in my favor: already been under there with the saddlebag supports and... I got little girl hands. You got to get real intimate with your rear tire.

I tried the one bolt at a time method for that thing. Not possible. Its made sturdy has no flex at all and when you try to do one at a time or even one side at a time it sits cock eyed and its such a tight fit its impossible to get the bolts through sitting sideways. Its an extremely tight fit. I got 3 of the spacers in but wasnt able to get the 4th in since it was so tight and not enough play to get it in. |
