If it says "waterproof", no problem.
If it doesn't say waterproof, problem.

Re: speakers

Question - isn't it easier to use an iPod or something similar with in ear or in helmet speakers rather than installing speakers on the bike which would have to be pretty loud to hear anything over the wind noise and with helmet on? And how good would the quality of whatever you are listening to be? And because it has to be so loud, will you be annoying and pissing off everyone around you who also has to listen to that? Just curious. Not to mention whatever distraction from paying attention to riding there may be, but that's also a totally personal issue.

Re: speakers

Can you hear that with any clarity over the wind and engine noise and if you had on a full face helmet how would it be?

Re: speakers

I wear a DOT 1/2 police helmet and I can hear fine until about 45 mph. It's nice for fartin' around town, which is what I have my GeeZer for. It's really not worth what it cost though.

I can hear my 10 dollar Skullcandy earbuds and 30 dollar RCA Mp3 player at 80mph like I am at a rock concert if I so chose to. :rawk:
