dual front brake system

hi all,
i'm planning to modify my bike using double front brake system, has anyone try it before? and if i want to use OEM part for lower fork slider to hold brake caliper on the other side (as my front brake caliper is on the left side), what model would fit and where could i buy it? thank all

Don't think it's possible as all calipers are on left side on G.Z.s .Other models have larger diameter forks.

Why would you need to do that? With a good set of front pads the brakes work quite well, and you have less risk of locking up the front wheel than if you had dual disc brakes on a bike that light.

Good luck. Why not just add about 100cc to the block while you're at it...and maybe put some new rims and a dual exhaust system as well?

The easiest way would be to transplant a dual disk front end from another bike. Not worth the cost, the time involved and not needed either.

yeah bro i already install daihatsu car piston and a truck cylinder in my block...hehehe..for dual brake i need it for better brake system and of course for fashion.lol

yea that's what i'm trying to do, to transplant it from another bike. i heard that the front shock diameter for gz is the same with intruder VL250, only that the intruder have right side brake system...and i'm thinking to use only the vl250 lower tube slider for caliper holder. so does anyone have it?pm me..thank

No you don't.

If your existing front brake isn't working 100%, you've a problem with the brake that ISN'T going to be solved efficiently by doubling up.

For a 300lb bike, the brakes are really good enough. In order for an effective replacement, you'd have to replace the entire front end - triples, forks, wheel, axle, calipers, rotors, speedo, risers (and possibly bars), cables....why not just buy a new bike?

Total waste of time and effort for literally NO benefit except putting undue stress on the already relatively weak triple tree.
