Floorboards

So, has anyone figured out how to get some floorboards installed in place of the foot pegs on a GZ? It would seem that there has to be a way to do it, and they sell several different kinds at JCWhitney, but I'm not very mechanical. The ones I've seen surely won't fit without some sort of modifications, and I don't want to get the case guards and mount them on it - travel would be torture! Sure would be a cool thing to have, though, right where the pegs are now.

A company makes them but i cant remember the name .. its Wings by Leidre(sp?) or something like that. They make floorboards for the GZ. I used to have the link, but its gone. Check my sticky thread on "GZ links you cant live without" i may have put it in there.

These may not be exactly what you are looking for but I saw these boards, Kuryakyn ISO Mini Boards, at www.cheapcycleparts.com. The following link should take you directly to them.

I think they were about $85. Hope this helps.

I put some on mine. They are dynaglide passenger floorboards. Got them off of ebay. I did have to do a little grinding on the connector and insert some thicker washers but they work just fine.

Floorboards

I bought a set of these (for the 250 Marauder) from the UK. They did fit great, but they were not for me and I sold them. Also, they were not cheap, but they were superbly made & were structurally excellent. Thes are the only ones I could find to fit the GZ.

Good Luck
