Looking for a sissy bar and more.

I just pocked up an 06 gz250 for the boss. She wants to find a driver backrest and a sissy bar. Anyone got these for a decent price. We don't want new so a little surface rust is fine, and I can redo the upholstry if it needs it. If you have what we're looking for shoot me an email at plskthompson1 @ gmail.com as I'll get that faster.

Brother, I think you are SOL for a driver backrest. I don't think one is made.

Usually people on this site make their own due to lack of aftermarket GeeZer parts.

Good Luck!

The sissy bar's not a problem to find, search e-bay under GZ250 and you'll have a lot of options, Sarris is correct about the drivers backrest, you will probably have to have that custom made, and it won't be inexpensive.

Re: Looking for a sissy bar and more.

Thanks for that heads up. We bought a back buddy, which is nothing more than a round pillow designed for lumbar support, a few years back, and she has decided to use that for now. I've checked eBay for the sissy bars, and $200+ just seems a little high at the moment.
