Looks like a great ride. The weather seems to have cooperated nicely too.
How does the Intruder compare with the GZ performance wise ? North America does not get the small V-twin so we have no real experience with them. They were available in Australia but I don't know if they are even still made. |

well it's not that much of gain, maybe the 4 more HP... other than that i must (too bad) confess that SUZUKI cared of details muuuuch better on the Intruder than Marauder... i didn't have the chance to test the performance difference deeply, but we will ride every week-end together so i'll keep you updated about that anyway the engine "roar" much better than GZ.... it's sound kick some serious asses to be so small... Intruder (VL 250) went out of production in 2004.... it's hard also here to find one in good shape.... there are far more marauders than intruders Login or Register to Remove Ads |

DarkJackal", Could you do us a favor, take a look at your bike, on the front of the motor, do you have an item that looks like the one below (The silver "valve" with a couple of tubes coming into it)?
It would be just below the point where the frame members come together in front of the motor, below the gas tank on the right side. Login or Register to Remove Ads |

If it ain't botherin' you, why do you want to mess with it? (Just kidding, but it would be nice to know what it does, what it's for). A prize for the first one who finds out?
