Off to a good restart

Will pickup my 02 GZ250 this afternoon. Very excited because it has been about 30 years since I rode a bike on the road. I thought the GZ250 would be a perfect restart for me. I have a 30 mile ride home from where I'm picking it up, if all goes well I might make the trip a little longer LOL.

Welcome to the forum ! :2tup:

I'm also a 'reborn' rider, back in the saddke after 30 years. I love the smiles this bike gives me.

PS didn't you have a little stiffnes in the muscles of your lower back, i.e. those between your skeleton and the saddle ?
I often get it after about 25 miles.

Re: Off to a good restart

My muscles were tense from that initial ride. Not so much in my lower back but my neck. I was driving against a very strong wind which made the bike lean many times. I attempted to make myself less wind resistance (didn't work too well) by keeping my chin down and after about 15 miles my hands were going tingly. Once I got back into the city everything was old hat.
