Sold my GZ250 :-(
I had planned on keeping my GZ when I bought the GL650I but SHAMBO insisted I am entitled to only one motorcycle and threw such a tantrum I put the GZ on Craigslist just to shut her up. her---> :poke2:<---me
Unfortunately for me a very nice young lady bought my GZ yesterday. Fortunately I will always remember the great times I had on the geezer! :rawk: Also fortunately the money will go for some new camping equipment and riding gear and accessories and travel expenses, so I can get the hell away from here, often, and in comfort and style! :2tup:

Re: Sold my GZ250 :-(
Hope you'll stick around for a bit You give some great input.
My GZ is in the front yard with a FS sign on it (and on CL). I'm going to move up to something bigger now that my wife has started riding with me.

Re: Sold my GZ250 :-(
I plan on sticking around, this is a fun forum. I always have a good laugh or learn something new when I visit. Lots of good folks on here. I wanted to keep the GZ because it is just such a blast to ride. A small bike with a very big grin factor. And very economical to own and ride. But hey,

Re: Sold my GZ250 :-(
Looks like the GZ legacy is alive and well. We have new riders joining almost every day and members moving up to newer and or bigger bike. The GZ along with it's distant cousins, the Rebel And Virago, how many other bikes can say they introduced the world of 2 wheels to newbies and watched them grow and gain riding skills.

She hasn't picked it up yet, just left a 1/3 deposit to hold it, maybe she forgot about it already! :-)
