Another magic oil blend
...anybody ever try Spectro Gold synthetic (or Silver, which I think is conventional) in the box?

Re: Another magic oil blend
Gear box? What's the correct name for the mutally shared oil pool that bathes the piston and the gears....?

Also, what's an I-4? ...and, I'm betting you are not out on the bike this week - pretty damn cold for this early in December, even for Chicago.

Don't know why that is since it really is both. I thought maybe the oil CAME in a box nowdays.  An I-4 is an inline 4-cylinder engine, like on a Honda CB550 or a Kawasaki Eliminator 600. And yes, it is effing cold here; the bike is resting peacefully and I am trying to plan a trip to Florida!!

Re: Another magic oil blend
ER - Coming to Tallahassee? Maybe I could get ahold of Bad Bob and we could out for a drink or two. Get the GZ250 club together for a regional meeting.
It's getting cold here too, can't wait 'till my leather full side-zip pants arrive to try them out. |

Re: Another magic oil blend
I rode My GZ yesterday and it was still 29 degrees when I left the house, and it was invigorating to say the least. And is Spectro Gold supposed to be good for our bikes or what, I never actually saw where anyone posted on that one way or the other.
