Cracked a thousand today!!

Hey all just a post to say I cracked a thousand miles on my trusty little GZ today, its taken a couple months but Im loving it :rawk: and still havent had a sore ass from the seat. My longest ride so far is a 300 mile round trip to see some family. Gona give it sum new oil and a filter and maybe look at the valve clearances shortly. Keep on keepn on, roll on summer yeeehaaa :neener:

Happy millimile day! Are the days longer in your summer as well? (Never been.) Km or miles in NZ?

Congrats. Have fun during the next 1000. The fact that you did a 300 mile round trip is even more impressive!

We are generally Kms but my little GZ speedo reads miles. Daylight savings kicked in a few weeks ago so its still broad daylight at 8.00 pm the days are long and the air is warm and sweet (lol thats a bit poetic). Been using the bike for day to day running as I dont own a car personally and its awesome, I feel so much more confident than I did 2 months ago. I still have whoop shit moments occasionally usually due to trying different things like u turns on a busy street or steep hill starts with a lot of traffic behind, but on the whole Im gettn better..
