OT - Nascar Dover race pictures
I know its a week later, but i finally got around to uploading and resizing all my pictures from Dover.
Click for Dover or you can take This Link to ALL my nascar pics. I had obtained tickets through my buddy for the race as well as the hospitality tent area (for invited guests of sponsors). Got to meet Kyle Busch, over the wall guys, and Joe & JD Gibbs. They all signed autographs as well as talked for a bit before hand. Getting into the tent area was awesome. All the sponsors had their own tents. I obviously got into the Interstate Batteries tent (hence Kyle). They gave us a bag of goodies (hat, lanyard, pin, can cooler, literature and some other stuff). Each table had CLOTH tablecloths and real flower centerpieces. No plastic crap for Interstate! We got stickers to go on the pit road tour which consisted of being escorted onto the front stretch of the track with access up to the inside wall. We couldnt go ON pit road, but close enough for me. After that we went back to the tent and Kyle showed up. He was asked a bunch of pre set questions and sat for autographs. He was in and out quicker than a bad porno. 3 of the pit crew guys also did a q&a with us. Then a big ass lunch was served and Joe and JD Gibbs showed up. Joe talked his butt off and told a few stories. One of which about when they wont the daytona 500 with Dale Jarret and got lost going to victory lane. JD did the sponsor ass kiss speech. They both sat and signed autographs for everyone. They were late and out of time .. but Joe said he and JD were going to stay till every single person had an autograph in the tent. That was very cool of him. After that we made our way out with the 'common folk' and walked around the track to experience the driver merchandise trailers and all the sponsor areas showing off their products. Race started .... great seats. You can see the entire track from anywhere there. Great race ... last 50 laps was intense with 3 drivers beating the crap out of each other. Was a lot of fun! Hi, Dupo.
Here are panorama photos from your album photos. Found series of the photos that could be stitched, so I tried. And works greate..ha ha ha  Saved to JPG format to reduce size. As original photo size are small, stitching took less than minutes.

I found a really awesome FREE Panorama Tool from web search. Application name is "hugin". You can download from here. If your computer OS is windows, try to download precompiled exe installer which I did. http://hugin.sourceforge.net/ It was little hard to start with this application, however, after couple of using, found amaizingly simple to use. Just using Panorama Wizard.. and done. Try it, you will like it. Thanks. I hope that many gz250 members try this application.

Wow, great job man. I took those pics specifically for creating a panorama shot. The newer version of Corel's paint shop pro 12 is a little different than the last version i had and i couldnt get it to stitch together correctly.
Thanks for putting that together for me!! Login or Register to Remove Ads |
