New Rider from Washington State

This is my first bike, 2007 GZ 250. I only have a permit and have already put over 900 miles on my bike. I plan on getting my endorsement through the MSF course that I will be taking in October.

Re: New Rider from Washington State

You are off to a fast start. Where do you ride that you got so many miles in already?

I like the black.

Dang, that makes me feel lame: I've put 3500 miles on mine since I got my permit in June. Guess I like to ride?

+1 on the black; always a smart choice!

Re: New Rider from Washington State

Nice bike. I live in Puyallup also, but I don't have a GZ250. Heres my bikes: 2006 Hareley-Davidson XL883;2007 Royal Enfield 500 Bullet (google it); and my 2007 Yamaha XT225 dual sport bike.My wife rides a 2008 SYM HD200 scooter now (she doesn't want to have to use a clutch and shift). There are some pretty nice rides in our area. About three weeks ago, we rode up to Sunrise near Mount Rainier. Theres a nice back road loop that goes to Buckley, Orting, and back to Puyallup (maybe a 45-50 mile loop).

Take care, Jon in Puyallup

Birdmove, you are looking at some old and outdated threads. Some of the members have come and gone. Glad to have you come aboard of course.
