Had a nice moment with a "cager" tonight...
On the commute home tonight I had stopped at a light in the left lane of a four lane divided. When the light changed, I realized the bike had stopped running. Hit the starter... nada. Then it dawned on me I was probably out of gas.
Fumbled around and switched to reserve, but a second start didn't make it go. Now people behind me are getting anxious. When I looked up to assess my options I noticed a nice lady in a black mercedes in the right lane had been watching my predicament, had stopped, and was waving me over to the side, protecting the lane for me. Duck walked it over to the curb, and a half minute later it started up and off I went. Just thought with all of the bad stuff people encounter, I should mention that every once in a while somebody does something nice for a biker.

Next time try the "Prime" position for a few seconds.
