Reply to...
I searched to see if this was already addressed, but I didn't see it.
Within a specific topic, the posts seem to be linear - one after the other. So If you want to reply to a specific post, and someone else has already, yours just gets added on to the bottom. Sometimes my "replies" don't make sense, cause some other posts have happened in between. I'm aware you can "quote" a post and that might clear up confusion. I've also been referencing the poster in the beginning of my reply. Nevertheless - is there a way to reply to a specific post rather than just tacking on to the bottom? -Alan.

In the upper right corner of every post is a "quote" button. It will automatically add that particular post into your reply so you don't have to cut and paste so much. But this will still not keep your reply from displaying at the bottom of the thread.
The only other way is to set up the forums to use a nested reply system, which would completely change the way everybody views the board and IMO isn't as user-friendly.

And quotes thus imported can (and should) be edited for brevity.......like above!
