Welcome. You will find a wealth of info here from some really smart folks who love the little GZ. Most folks generally upgrade in time but will credit the GZ for it's forgiving manner and ability to give you a true motorcycle experience without having to start with a too large bike. Time spent on the GZ will fine tune your skills and muscle memory for the day you upgrade to a larger heavier bike. But don't be in a hurry to upgrade either. The bike may be your last one if it fills your needs. Bigger is not always better depending on your riding needs.

Welcome to our forum. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do. I also ride a '09' GZ and for me it is the perfect commuter bike. Ride safe and have fun.

Welcome. I have had my 2009 for several months now and have enjoyed it. Unfortunately our riding season is about over. Enjoy.
