fuse keeps blowing

My wife's 1999 GZ250...after riding down a horrible road that I told her to stay off of...found she has no turn signals , brake light, horn, and neutral light. Replaced the 15A fuse and next time out 500 feet from house....fuse blows again.
Any suggestions on where to start?

sounds like it could be damage to the cable bundle. Try doing a physical check, especially round the steering. You may have to remove the tank, to check the wiring under it. It could even be at the back of the bike, so you need to do a thorough check. Let us know how you get on.

Well I tested quite a few possibilities with my multi meter and every combo worked.
So, I noticed on the left side of bike where the seat meets the left side cover...wiring and a plastic plug. Had been that way since we got the bike. I never liked where it was. So, before putting seat back on, I re-routed it sort of under the frame and cover. Tested all again---all fine. Took the bike for a short ride...testing the entire time. All worked fine and once I got it back home...tested all again---still are working fine. I figure it must have been the seat (and body weight) pinching those wires...causing a short. Seems to be not doing that now.
Only time will tell for sure.

We went for a ride this afternoon, a fairly long one. And I'm happy to report all is good. No issues.
