Mine has done it forever, it comes with the bike. Louder/less loud with a low frequency. Something with resonance in the chain and the sprockets.

I think we could use a clarification here. Is it just a noise or an actual physical pulse that you can feel. If it is a noise I wouldn't get too excited. You have a piece of mechanical machinery doing it's job just under your butt. You are not isolated from noise as you would be in a car.
A good idea is to use ear plugs to protect your hearing on a bike no matter how quiet it may be. Noise levels can be very rider fatiguing whether you know it or not. Trust me on this. I've done my homework and actual testing. Fatigue and slower reponses can hurt you in a bad situation. |
