Glad to be here.
Happy to see a forum for the gz250. Glad to be part of it. I have already learned a lot about the bike and just bought a 1999 model (red) with 5600 miles on it yesterday. Mainly to save gas to work and back, but also plan on making a few longer trips each month to the Chesapeake where I keep a 27' sailboat (170 miles each way). My last bike was a Moto Guzzi 850T that was my primary vehicle. That was in North Carolina. I am in PA now so I may have to take the pickup when it snows/is too cold. Looking forward to riding again as it as been a while. Probable mods include a windshield and a luggage rack/panniers. I need to get a better helmet and some riding clothes. Thanks for all the informative posts everyone!
