Gear Shift Cam Stopper

I accidently unscrewed the gear shift cam stopper bolt instead of the oil drain bolt when I changed the oil. I put it back like it showed in the manual. Stopper->spring->bolt. Is that all that has to be done? I want to make sure before I dump oil in and start riding. Been lurking for years but this is my first post. Thanks.
