first post and questions.
Hello everyone. I am new to this. I live close to Pittsburgh. I just rescently traded for a 99 gz250. I had a Kawasaki 454, I just went and got my license also. I did notice that when I let the gz sit idle running on its stand I get a couple drops of oil coming out the fins near the exhaust where it connects into the engine. Anyone get this problem ? I am also looking for a engine guard/crash bar if anyone has one not needed. Thanks in avvanced

Re: first post and questions.
Snug those head bolts up...or at least check the torque. That is not uncommon.
One other things, these things don't really cool unless they are moving. So don't leave it sitting and running for a prolonged period of time. (There are stories on here if you need to know why) Why did you get rid of the 454, if I might ask. Those are pretty cool little bikes. |

Re: first post and questions.
Welcome to the forum! Have visited Pittsburgh twice and loved it both times. Enjoy the GZ!
