Yeah, I got the replacement valves and piston and smoothing out the cylinder head.
Note to all GZ250 riders, don't let your Air cooled engine idle until the pipes are bright red.
Lesson learned

No.... blue pipes is lean. Red is when the pipes get red hot.

-Perfect chrome means you don't ride enough.
-Blue is slightly lean.
-Red corresponds to the burning of money from your wallet.

riding a bike is no joke & when it comes to service & repair now your talking about safety and depenabilty Ill say it again dont short cut anything if u drink & smoke than that money could be used to take better care of the bike it
takes me 45 min to clean the chine rear wheel & polish her up after every ride now as far as the engine been blowing
do a complete top end all oe parts that engine looks like it has been running very hard for long time @ high speed
dirty oil, dirty air filter improper valve adjustment not filling up at the same station not using a colder plug setting the carb
air mix screw right to lean dirty chain clutch not adj right not using preaming gas enough for now Ill say it again 2000 gz250 of mine is new factory mint condition so fi your negitived about what I said thats ok my bike talks to me & I
love it
