Replacement Mirrors

I really dislike the stock oem mirrors on my GZ250. Takes forever to adjust them with wrenches. Does anyone know if there are aftermarket mirrors that fit our bike that can be adjusted by hand only. If so, please post make and model numbers/ also websites. Thanks in advance JIM

Can't really see your problem. Once you've adjusted them roughly (with a wrench) the final adjustment is by a ball joint at the back of the mirror. You only need to use the wrenches once, then you can do the final adjustment with your hand, while riding.

I've had several different sets of aftermarket mirrors. There is not a better view available aside from the factory. My second place was a set of bar end mirrors that I like a lot. Nothing else even came close.

yeah, you kinda gotta be careful with what you buy based on the bike. For example, I purchased some Arlen Ness Tear Drop mirrors a few years back. They worked fine for my bobber at the time. They work (and are on) my current bike, but I just couldn't use them on the GZ250. I had my GZ250 setup with the stock handlebars and when I put the Tear Drop mirrors on, I couldn't see past my shoulders. That wasn't cool. So, I put the stock mirrors back on and was a safer rider. I never did find a style of mirror I liked for the GZ, so I stuck with the stock.

So, if you do buy a different set, just take into account you may need a higher stem, or a stem that goes wider past your shoulders, etc for the GZ (if you've got a stock handlebar and seat setup).

I have always wanted to change the bars but never could find the size I needed. Oh well, I will leave it stock until I sell it and move up. Thanks for the replies

Just remember that with this setup (or bar end mirrors) if the bike goes down, then the mirrors hit the ground first.
