new ride

got a lightly used, one owner 2009 GZ250 with @ 985 miles to replace my 2009 Genuine Buddy 125 scooter...a bit of light corrosion, but clean otherwise :rawk:

Wow that's awesome! Looks great, and welcome to the forum! Never heard of a Genuine Buddy, but looked them up and they look pretty cool. Probably the GZ will be a lot more versatile, though.

Lookin good. I see you also have the decorative Suzuki crash bar that is well protected by the bike in case of mishap.

original owner put on the engine guard...

I was hoping for a set of saddlebags & supports, but I have a good backpack :tongue:

it's gonna be a nice stablemate to my V Star 650; my neighbor is already busting my chops naming it 'Suzy Zuki' :poke2:

I need to learn how to weld so I can make some good crash bars. And get a welder. And a pipe bender, and probably some other stuff.

Keep an eye open for the thread about a trunk on the GZ. You might find it a good alternative to bags.
