GZ250 version AR1511, 13F1 manual?

Hi! It's my first post in here. My name is Peter and i'm from Poland. I'm sorry for poor english language speaking

I own GZ 125 and actually i'm swapping engine from GZ250. 125 is from 2001. I bought crashed GZ250 for the engine, and it's 2003 or newer (don't know exact year of manufacture - i know it's AR1511 model). Here's couple of problems. I handled frame modifications to fit 250 engine, but suzuki made some changes between AR1211 and AR1511. For example airbox has 3 hoses in AR1511 - third one come to engine trough some device - as i recollect it's to take warm air from engine to airbox.

There's nothing about it in manual from year 1998 from this forum, so i'd like to ask if someone has manual for newer GZ250 AR1511, or if somebody could take pictures of entire air-fuel system.

Don't know which model is selling in US right now, but maybe some guys from Europe would know what i'm talking about.

I appreciate your help.

Re: GZ250 version AR1511, 13F1 manual?

Hi there , and welcome.

My European GZ 250 has only a standard air box. Air filter to let air in. Air exit to carb. Drain tube.

The only difference to the American bikes is a richer carb set up and a crankcase positive ventilation system.[attachment=0:13khijsc]b17.JPG[/attachment:13khijsc]

Re: GZ250 version AR1511, 13F1 manual?

Thank you, alantf

As you can see, my airbox - 3 hoses. I don't really remember where the third one runs - propably it runs to this element you've alredy shown in the picture, but that's only my guess.

I have more questions:

I've got complete electrical system from GZ125 (Made in Japan) - it has better connectors to turn signal lights and i'd like to save opportunity of turning off lights (none/position/normal lights), because in gz250 headlamp lights constantly. Will this GZ125 instalation work with GZ250 ignition module, coil, etc?

Is it possible to find exact year of manufacture and model using VIN number? I was able only to recognize that this one is AR1511. Unfortunately there aren't any numbers on engine (erased).
