Greetings from southeast Louisiana.
My name is Phil and I just got back into riding after a 40 year absence. I bought a scooter back in October to use as a dingy to rack behind my 24' RV. Well that got me started again and three weeks ago I accepted a 2006 GV250 in partial payment of a bad debt. I planned to ride it a bit and then sell it but I like it too much. I know it is a small cycle but it is larger than what I was riding back in the early 70's when about the biggest thing on the road was the Honda 305. Ok there were the ocasional BMW and the Harleys, which didn't count cause they, for the most part, spent more time in the shop than on the pavement.

Welcome Phil, glad to have you join the party. You will find the GZ is a pretty decent smaller bike and handy ride if you put it on the RV.

I LOVED to ride my Uncle Juli's Honda 305 Dream CA-77 windshield, hard bags... I thought it was huge (to a 13 yr old it probably was). Welcome to the club.

Welcome to the forum from South Carolina. Since you had a long layoff from riding I would suggest you take the MSF BRC (Motorcycle Safety Foundation Basic Rider Course). It's the best investment in your safety you can make.
