No more stickers!

 Rode the stickers of this week! Body work next. But it drives great!!!!
So far:
132.5 main jet
Needle jet lift
Pod air filter
Shorty muffler
16 T sprocket
First ride and it is a different bike. I actually have a first gear. Runs great now. Stays in fourth now instead of back and forth between fourth and fifth. And it will smoke the tire! Video to follow!!!

Thanks Blaine! The damn thing turned from into a simple bobber to a I don't know what..... It's a ball though! And the best part is with trading and E bay and A LOT of hand work, I think I got around $600 cash into it!

Re: No more stickers!

Going with the present appearance and the 2 header pipes people will think it is a vertical twin. How does it sound with the shorty muffler ??

Re: No more stickers!

Water Warrior, I've already had people ask me if it was a 600. And it sounds pretty throaty with the shorty! With the needle lift, the main jet upsize, shorty muffler and pod air filter, it pulls so much better. More air flow, more fuel =more power. May not be much but with the weight loss and the more efficient air/fuel flow, it does make a hell of a difference it the “seat of the pants” drive! PimpS, he's going to be the "Red Baron"! I'm going to keep the red and put two maltase crosses on the tank. The handmade sissy bar with the maltase cross is going to be chromed. The rear views I got off E bay are useless with the drag bars. I saw a good deal on some longer shaft cross rear views for pretty cheap and might try them. The space opened up in the center of the frame is either going to be a leather fork bag or a handmade storage tank that will look like an old time oil tank. Don't know yet. My metal smith friend wants to make a custom stainless storage tank and battery cover because he's a metal guy! Barter with beer!!!

Re: No more stickers!

Barter with beer keeps the government out of it. Sounds like the finished bike will be a real question maker from folks who aren't familiar with a GZ.
