gas tank

Does anyone know if the tank on the gz is a single wall or double wall tank ? if it gets a dent can it be pressed out on the other side? or does it have to be suctioned out or magnetically pulled? I am just curious I have a small dent round from the turn signal when it got dropped. I was curious if i bent a steel re-bar and put a rubber brake pad from a bicycle on the end and a rubber bracer on the tank opening could i know that dent back out. or do i need to take it to a specialist at a body shop for dry ice or suction or magnetic removal.

Re: gas tank

I don't know.
But, I will say that I don't think it felt like double wall.

Re: gas tank

Single wall but very hard to magnetically pull out a dent that is on the sides or a roll in the tank.

Re: gas tank

Whatever you try, do not attempt to push out or blow the dent out by pressurizing it, either with air or liquid - you will blow apart the seams on the tank.
