Hello from DC
Since our earthquakes have (mostly) stopped and the hurricane has yet to hit, I thought I'd say hello from Northern VA/DC.
Last spring, I took the MSF course and got my license last spring with my girlfriend, who needed a bike get her to work. Having practiced on her 2009 Rebel a bunch, I decided to take the plunge, so I bought my first motorcycle: a red 2001 gz250. I'm hoping to use it for commuting, trips to local climbing destinations, as well as the occasional overnight trip up into the Shenandoah; so you can expect to see some questions about saddlebags & the like from me. Re: Hello from DC
Welcome.
If you're going to the MLK unveiling this weekend, please take some photos. Heck, take your bike and take some photos and make it a ride photo-op ![]() Wish I could be there. |

Re: Hello from DC
Welcome to the forum from MD.
I have never visited your beautiful city by bike, but I often get to go there for my work. Quote:
MLK was the talk of the day on Radio Pacifica. Wish he was still around...
