might be a good idea

i was out on a ride yesterday and noticed my right peg was loose, turns out the 2 bolts that hold the pegs on were loose, on both sides! guys get out there and make sure your shits tight! lol

A dab of Blue Loktite will make the bolts very secure.

Part of servicing the bike is to check that things are tight.

Loose bolts and stuff can be more than an inconvenience. 1st bike back in 1976 was probably never really tighened up or checked by the dealer. Way off in the bush and suddenly had a box full of neutrals. Luckily I did find the problen by accident and went home. Next day the tool box came out and I went over the entire bike. Never had a problem after that and got to learn a bunch about the bike.

That's a common occurrance across all makes and models of bikes. I was riding with a friend and when we reached our destination his helmet lock on the rear fender was gone. He said it was there yesterday so he must of lost it on our ride. I was following and never saw it come off. He's pretty good with maintainence. So, yeah, there are things we won't think of.
