newbie from west palm beach FL
hi im new to the site, i have own my gz250 for a year now and ride it everyday to work and all around south florida.
my gz is all stock 2009 model had 0miles on when i drove it off the show room floor. i joined this site to get ideas of accessories and mods other people have done to thier gz and to post stories and pictures of my adventures, and to hopefully find some riders down here to ride with cause riding by myself is starting to get boring and its hard to keep up with the guys riding the harleys and other big bikes (and i think they like to mess with me to cause they know my bike is small) but if anybody lives in or around west palm beach florida and knows of good riding routes or that wants to ride some days just let me know Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Re: newbie from west palm beach FL
Welcome Palm Beach. We had a long time florida man on here (Sarris) that dropped off after some employment challenges, not sure if he was in your area (more familiar with CA than FL.) I've seen a number of other FL riders posting. Check the member list and try sending messages or e-mail - some folks come on and then drift away after a few months. (There's actually not much to talk about once you've been at it for six months or so!)
You can mess with the Harley guys as you are riding past the $4 a gallon gas station.

Welcome to the forum. I'd love to have your weather to ride in during the winter months. Hope you can find some others to ride with in your area. Glad to have you on board.

Re: newbie from west palm beach FL
Welcome from Fort Lauderale. Some of the hawg riders like to circle Lake Ocheechbee on the weekends. That might be an interesting trip from your location. I don't get much riding in after April untill November as I have to go back to work in he Bahamas for the summer tourist Scuba diving season. But florida winter is the best time to ride here. The A1A beach run is great, both north and south from Your location. --Dan--
