Have you tried getting on from the right hand side. That way, it's the left leg you need to bend. My old joints aren't what they used to be, & for some reason I can get on more easily from the right. :2tup:

I have always done it that way; don't know why.
Now trying to get on from the left side feels awkward.

Might have something to do with not being able to use the peg if you are on the left.

90% of my riding time has been on standards......where the peg IS helpful for mounting.....AND other things too.
