The present disk brake will lock the front wheel pretty easily.....unless maybe your total load is 500 lbs or more.....so I think what you propose is not wise. Not at ALL.

yea that's what i'm trying to do, to transplant it from another bike. i heard that the front shock diameter for gz is the same with intruder VL250, only that the intruder have right side brake system...and i'm thinking to use only the vl250 lower tube slider for caliper holder. so does anyone have it?pm me..thank
You might be on to something providing the inner parts are a match.

Hmmm, have some faith in the triple tree. The GZs are used for family transport and freight haulers in many parts of the world. Our member is in Indonesia where they are very common bikes and probably subjected to stress factors we would never consider.

ok guys, this aint the first attempt the bike uses dual brake.someone in my country has already tried and it worked. due to unavailability of lower tube slider as for caliper holder, they make a bracket on to it. well the bike have traveled for about 900 km when escorting bicycle race (with an average speed of 100km/hour) without trouble whatsoever. so i think it's worth to try, why not? u'll never know when u don't try it..

I guess bikers around the world just HAVE to find something to screw around with on their bikes.
I don't fully understand it myself.

In this case, I think it is a total waste of time and money......because in the end, it won't accomplish anything useful even if it does work perfectly.

That particular bike never was offered in North America so parts would be nonexistant here. It was offered in Australia if memory serves me correctly. You might try Auction sites and E-bay in Australia.
Also Goggle Suzuki Global to see if the bike is still part of their current production and where it might be sold.
