Windy day....Los Angeles

Just want to share the windy day with other members...
My worst bike friend of all, Wind... ha ha ha
Pretty hard wind today...
Actual feeling of wind is worse than video.

I was out in that myself. Detracts from the bike ride that's for sure. It's manageable on the heavy bike, but it requires a much higher level of effort when riding.

Something I haven't been able to figure out - you can go 100 mph on a windless day and it won't bother you that much, 80 mph won't bother you at all... but add in a 35 mph wind (in any direction) and it really sucks. On Wednesday the base wind was about 30-35 with gusts 45-50. Rode 150 miles from the beach to Corona to Temecula and back to Anaheim.

Hello, Mr. Alan.
I think that beach side of the Los Angeles area gets stronger wind..
You might had fun riding with wind...

My bike is little bit higher center of gravity, and light weight.
So, I really have to careful for windy days..

Anyway, today the wind stroke my bike at the parking lot... ha ha ha.
Wind might saw my word on the forum... ^^;
I posted another video at the Ride report category; and you will see what happened at the end of the video clip..
