Re: LED flasher unit Qs

Hmm ? I think things will work out if you just ignore the factory flasher and hook the wires for it directly to the new flasher. You are really just doing a substitute/bypass of the factory unit. And you will need to ground the new flasher to complete it's own circuitry.

Re: LED flasher unit Qs

Yeah I was worried that the 3-pin wasnt the right way to go.
There are 2-pin versions as well but I was thinking the 2-pin ones are simply made without an earth pin.
I have a mate who's real good with auto elec stuff so he'll suss it out for me tomorrow and if all else fails, I'll take it to the bike mechanic to sort out.
That'd be a shame thou! It's so much better to rig up these projects yourself!

Will post as I find more..

(Woot, uncharted territory! )

Re: LED flasher unit Qs

Got hit head-on by a van.
I was turning right at an intersection. A car was in front of me that turned and I followed that car, van running a red light coming the opposite way and BAM!
There was a lapse in concentration on my part as I was having a terrible day and just wanted to get home. If I had waited 1 second, all would've been ok.
Broke my right foot and had to cancel an overseas ski trip

Next time round it will be a GSX-R600 I think
