OEM Tires-Mileage

Checked out old posts couldn't locate one regarding what kind of mileage I can expect, on the OEM tires? Yes I know it varies, depending on different factors, just trying to get an estimate!

Front and Rear!

Thanks in advance!

Re: OEM Tires-Mileage

I got 7000 out of the oem's.

I now have 7400 on the Kendra's and still have a few miles left.

Re: OEM Tires-Mileage

I got around 8,000 out of the front tire and about 12,000 on the rear tire on my 2005.

Re: OEM Tires-Mileage

23000/4 years yes 23K miles from the front OEM (metzeler). just got the new one last week to pass the state inspection. Rear OEM (metzeler) gave around 11500 miles/2 years and the second one Cheng Shin also gave about the same milage/2 years.

Not bad for the front one but my rear ones give slightly less milage. May be because of my weight and driving style.

For the brakes. Front ones I have replaced 3 times but in the rear one I have the OEM (original pads) and still good.

Same here. Living in the mountains I only get around 3000 miles out of the front pads (around 9000 miles on the bike) but there's still plenty of wear left on the rear. Also plenty of tread left on both tyres.
