Newbie in the SFV.

Hey everyone. My name is Matt and I live in Reseda, CA. I just stumbled onto this site. I am glad that I did too. I just recently bought an 05 GZ250 with 5500 miles on it about two weeks ago. It is my first bike and thus far am really pleased with it. Although I just noticed this after noon a popping noise during cold start. With luck on my side I was able to find an explanation for the noise in one of the threads. I am going to work on it now. I look forward to getting involved with the forum in the future. All the best to everyone.

Hey MLGTIB, do you mind telling what you paid for your bike?

No not at all. I paid $1650 for it. My friend was selling it for $2000 but he gave it to me to what he paid plus the oil change and new battery that he had put in. It worked out to be a great deal for me.

Re: Newbie in the SFV.

Good price on the bike! I traded in my 05 about May this year and that's what the dealer gave me for it trade in value and he sold it for a quite a bit more than he gave me within a week. Great bike, you will enjoy it! Welcome to the forum.
