Re: new to the site, thanks for changing my mind
It's "Venture", I hope it's good because it certainly wasn't cheap. I've just got a heated liner for my jacket and heated gloves that plug in at the sleeves. Last Winter when I tried to ride to school anything below 18 degrees F. was very painful to my fingertips after a few minutes. I was warm enough everywhere else but the fingertips were just more than I was willing to bear. We don't have cold like you do in Squamish but we do get relatively cold for the South and it's almost always a relatively high humidity level to go along with it which just seems to make a lot of insulation less effective. I'm not going to have a choice about changing to my truck this Winter since I'm going to school out of town and my bike will be my only means of transportation. If you've got any good cold weather riding tips you'd like to pass along I'd love to hear them!

My apologies to Tim, I think I've kinda high jacked his thread, didn't mean to do that. Maybe I'll start a thread called Winter Riding Tips and ask for advice there. Sorry Tim, but welcome to the Forum!

BB. Not really a high jack. And it is a good example to our new member Tim to show him how well we can stray from a subject at a moment's notice. So here goes. BB, do you know what the power draw for the heated gear is in watts and how much excess the bike will put out ?
