Re: 2000 250 GZ - Tampa Florida *REDUCED* *again*

Beautiful bike, and I hope you can get what you are asking for it, but I just traded my 2005 in on a new bike and they gave me $1500 trade in and posted it for sale for $1800 and sold it in a week, so you might not get that much for a bike that's five years older than mine.

Alas, an 9 year old bike that currently sells new for ~$3,800 might not command the price you are hoping for.

What's your "upgrade" ride ??

The Shadow looks great and you look perfectly at home on it! What a beautiful place to ride too! Good luck with the GZ sale!

Good choice!
I love my 600 Shadow but the transition has been a little "nervous" at times.

Re: 2000 250 GZ - Tampa Florida *REDUCED* *again* and *again*

I slid right into it! Was shaky at first on the start ups. Now it is second nature. I rode my 250 for the fist time in a month yesterday and it felt like a bicycle. The 750 is the perfect fit for me. I can touch the ground. I doubt if I could lift it if I dropped it but my BF said I probably wouldn't have a problem finding some cutie to help me put him back up right. :O) I love the feel of it. My BF is getting a 1300. I made him promise NEVER to ask me to drive it! God help us all if I loved it!!!!! lol. So I am going to let Cartman (my 250) go. Was a great year with him. But life is always moving us along. Tampa has the most beautiful rides there is. You cant beat the water.

Assuming you mean "lift"........the second is probably true....IF anybody is around and the first is probably NOT true, IF you learn the right technique.

Not trying to be,mmmm, indelicate here but it appears you are a larger person than I am and I am able to right my 600 with only slight difficulty.

(Wonder how I know that??)

Nice looking SS750, deb. Now get busy replacing that lunchbox on the back fender (the taillight) with a Billski and put some new oomps on it.
