Whoa.....THAT can't be good. :skull:
Maybe sticky or kinked throttle cables.
I REALLY think you should look into that. Really.

Re: first mod!!!

I need a live-in mechanic. Cars are so simple. Just have the wife take it to the dealer. I put air in my tire before I went to Malibu and was glowing with pride for the first 50 miles! I really need to get my 600 mile service done.

Hey, I can be as mechanically dysfunctional as anybody. My biggest accomplishments after more than 1400 miles have been installing my windshield, and adding engine oil. Oh, and I lubed my chain too.

well that is great!!! pat on your back. if i dont know how to change my own oil.... what do i do? do bike places do that and about how much does it cost???

Do you provide room, board, and a nice cushy salary on top of that?

Re: first mod!!!

That's when you know you are rich - when you can afford to have a mechanic on premises to handle anything that comes up on your GZ.

Sadly, I didn't quite make it there during our recent gilded age, and it looks like that might have been my last shot.

Maybe in the coming downturn there will actually be really good mechanics that want to work on your bike right away, for a reasonable fee, and be glad for the business... (one can always dream...)
