Just bought a GZ250

I just purchaed a 2000 Suzuki GZ250 with 5000 Miles. The guy I bought it from maintained it very well and it doesn't have any cosmetic damaged.
I paid $1800 for it. i know i cannot change the price once it was purchased :-). But I wanted to know what did you guys thinks since I dont know much about bike prices. This is my first bike.

$1800 is a fair price for a GZ. They normally sell between 1600 and 2200 on ebay, so you did good.

Make sure you check out our downloadable manuals if you havent already. Welcome to the forum!

Welcome to the forum. Sounds like you made a fair deal and a good choice in a first motorcycle that is a classic style, easy to handle, and will be fun to ride for many miles. 5000 miles is not very much so it really is just getting seated and broken in. This forum will be a good source of information and help while you learn. If you haven't already since this is your first bike I would suggest taking the safety course. It will be a great way to learn how to handle your motorcycle properly and develop skills and good habits that will be valuable to keep you and the bike upright.
